With so many bakeries popping up like mushrooms everywhere, it's hard to know which are the good ones. Nah, I was never into the the Rotiboy buns. I tried one when I came home in December and it was nothing to shout about. The buns have been sitting there for awhile and they weren't as good as I thought they would be.

Anyway, here's my pick for bakeries. My favorite bakery (so far) is Bread Talk. If I'm not mistaken, I think they're originally from Singapore.

They're known for their chicken floss buns. Their Hokkaido Dome is the only reason why I like this place. You gotta try it! It tastes so wonderful right out of the oven. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside :P~~~

Sorry, I was so busy eating it that I almost forgot to take a piccie of it. Here's what's left! LOL!
Oh yeah, they also sells a variety of cakes and breads. I don't know which are good because all I want to eat is the Hokkaido Dome every time I go there!!

Rotiboy is only good if eaten freshly baked. Some outlets make it fresh like the 1 Utama.

My fav bakery is Sun Moulin especially their apple strudel and cream puffs.

boo_licious: The only thing I've tired at Sun Moulin is the Brioche. I'll try the apple strudel and cream puffs next time I go there.

Yeah Rotiboy is only great when u have it fresh, while the butter from the bread is still ozzing throught the paper bag and its still hot to hold ...

i can go for 2 at a time, but after that its gonna be a long long time before u get any more of them

---

one thing i have bout this all new bakery is that, they waste too much on plastic bags, when u get something there, it makes youolook like you just step out of a boutique, instead of a dress or shirt, u get a bagfull of pastry

they put the bread in a bag, then the bag in another bag, so

y(bread) + 1

i just have them chuck everything in a single bag and thats it ...

should use paper bag instead ...
